An ApplicationACT 16:18, can't blame Paul for getting tired of a demon following him around for days, even if it was validating his message. / ACT 16:25, when you believe something, you act like it's true. Paul & Silas had confidence in God's plan, even if it involved them getting beaten & locked up tight, and they put their money where their mouth is, or maybe, they put their body where their mouth is. / ACT 16:30-31 is a super famous verse. The "you and your family" part is subject to a lot of debate.

Connect the DotsLydia is the lady's name (ACT 16:14) but also the name of a place in where Paul called "Asia" (JER 46:9, EZE 27:10, 30:5). In God's irony, He told Paul not to go to Asia (ACT 16:6) and the region of Lydia but to go to Macedonia (ACT 16:9) and save a person with the same name. / Compare ACT 16:23-25 & 5:41. / This story is who Paul wrote to in PHP 1:1.
